OBJECTIVE

To develop skills and knowledge which would enable members of the Emergency Control Organisation to safely contain and/or extinguish small fires in the early stages. All attendees will be given practical use of fire extinguishers.

All members of the Emergency Control Organisation and support personnel.

DURATION

90 minutes, conducted on-site.

 

 

OBJECTIVE

To provide knowledge and understanding of emergency management for Chief Wardens, Deputy Chief Wardens, Communication Officers and other key personnel on site. Develop skills in leadership, communication, the decision making process and understand the difficulties involved in the management of people in the early stages of an incident. Define the roles of the Emergency Services and their interaction with the Emergency Control Organisation during different types of incidents.

Chief Warden, Deputy Chief Warden, Communications Officer and other key personnel on site. (Specialist training as requested)

90 – 120 minutes, conducted on-site.
